Bob photographBob has been waiting for a life-saving heart transplant since the spring of 2005. Now that Bob is on the list, he has restrictions that prevent him from living his life to the fullest. He cannot travel for business or pleasure, including seeing his children and grandchildren who live on the east coast. Warren photographWarren received his life-saving liver transplant in the fall of 2005, and refers to the months since his transplant as the best of his life. Healthy for the first time in years, he can once again enjoy quality time with his family, whether it's going for walks, playing board games or seeing a movie. Alexa phtoographAlexa's short life ended tragically early when she died at the age of 14 while waiting for a life-saving lung transplant. On the list for approximately seven months, Alexa couldn't do the things that most young girls get to do. She loved to dance, and would say that when she got her transplant, she was going to dance again. Sadly, the call that would save her life never came.
